Create a manual padel tournament

Choose the format, configure courts and scoring, add the required roster, then generate a schedule only after setup is verified.

ForTournament organizers

Before you start

Create the club and court records first and have the player or team roster ready. Choose the tournament format before setting roster expectations.

What you will have

You will have a tournament with a valid roster, court count, scoring settings and generated rounds ready to run.

Tips

Keep the tournament in Draft while changing settings. Player changes are limited after it moves beyond Registration.

Troubleshooting

If scheduling is unavailable, check the format’s minimum roster against court count and confirm the tournament is in an editable pre-play status.

Steps

01

Open Dashboard → Tournaments

Review current Draft, Scheduled and In progress records, then choose New tournament.

Tournament dashboard list with lifecycle status tabs
Organizers can filter tournaments by stage before opening a setup or live event.
02

Choose manual creation

Start without Playtomic import and enter the tournament identity and start timing.

03

Select the format

Choose Americano, Mexicano, Italiano or King/Queen according to the event rules and roster composition.

04

Set club, court count and scoring

Choose the venue context, number of courts and the available format scoring settings while the tournament is Draft.

05

Add players or teams from CRM

Search and select the roster. For team formats, build the required pairs rather than treating every participant as an individual.

06

Check roster capacity and details

Confirm names, court count, timing and scoring. Resolve minimum or maximum roster warnings before moving forward.

07

Generate the rounds

Move through the valid pre-play status and generate the planned schedule when setup is complete.
